Having owned a ‘57 Corvette since the early 1980’s, I have always been fascinated with placing a photo of my car into exotic or fantasy backgrounds. Using this technique for my real estate postcards and seeing the reaction from the recipients, I decided to start a small business to create works of art for other car enthusiasts. 

That’s when Rat Rod Studios came into existence. Rat Rod Studios exclusively features my automotive photographic artwork. Motorcycle Riders from all over the Country will be converging on the mountain as the Big Bear Choppers annual "Ride the Mountain" Bike Show, Concert and Poker Run returns to Snow Summit Mountain resort in Beautiful Big Bear Lake California. 

This will be the 8th Annual show which visitors get to ride the San Bernardino Mountains to Snow Summit resort to enjoy music, vendors, entertainment, BBQ and a bike show at a premier southern California destination...

Bear Choppers has created a run that has grown by the thousands every year. Custom Builder Copr Choppers

For one article, the writers here at Motorcycle USA are relinquishing their editorial driver's seat and are putting our readers behind the controls. Instead of reading articles about who we deem newsworthy, we gave readers the opportunity to tell us who they'd like to see featured in a custom builder article. 

In our Online Biker Build-Off, we introduced five custom builders we met at the Laughlin River Run - Count's Kustoms, Big Bear Choppers, Copr Choppers, Thunder Mountain Motorsports and Sik-n-Twisted Psycles - and asked you to vote for your favorite. The results are in, the votes are counted, and the winner by an overwhelming majority is Copr Choppers for its custom, ground-skirting bike, Ground Pounder.

We first met Copr Choppers' owner, Tony Martinez, in Laughlin at the 2007 Custom Bike Show. Martinez was there as the reigning Colorado Biker Build-Off champion. The Ground Pounder was battling a Big Bear Chopper build for the title, only to be edged out of the top spot by a mere half point. After that, the Ground Pounder began a six show streak of "Best of " honors, giving Martinez confidence heading into Sturgis for the 2007 World Championship of Custom Bike Building. 

Ground Pounder's streak of victories came to a close as two board tracker-inspired bikes took top honors. These retro-cool custom bikes have been a hot commodity since Roland Sands came out with his KR V-5 Boardtracker. But Martinez still put himself out there and gained recognition for Copr Choppers. If you're going to have a victory streak ended, there's no shame in being deposed by the likes of Chicara and Goldammer.

Martinez got the custom bike building bug about four years ago. He had been working on and modifying Harleys for about 12 years, but it was his first full-blown custom chopper, Blade, that breathed life into Copr Choppers as a business instead of a pastime. Martinez opened up shop in '05 and has been producing award-winning bikes ever since.

"After I saw how many shows I won with that one bike, I decided to stop buying other people's products and to start making my own," Martinez said.

 This project is based on Julieta and Julian Cerri own dream. Since they have met they knew they belong to each other, and their lives would be plenty of adventure and experiences.
 Julieta, 32, was born in USA from Argentinean parents. She lived mostly in Argentina. She came to USA to study Interiors Design. Today with his title on hand, she feels she has to discover the world around on her own. She wants to see different cultures, geographies, seas, rivers, flora and fauna. She is willing to cross the necessary boundaries to achieve her desire for adventure that runs through her veins.
 Julian, 33, employee, was  born in Argentina. He came to USA on 2002 due to the big economical crisis in Argentina. He found here peace and stability. He was far from his beloved friends, family and habits. Like every other immigrant, he struggle against the language, legal status, discrimination and his feelings about his hope of success in the so called “land of opportunity”.
 Now they have decided to travel through America on their motorcycle, from Argentina to Canada, approximately 100,000 kilometers. They already rode from Alaska to Argentina, approximately 64,000 kilometers and 22 countries. At the end of the travel, they would have ridden 160,000 kilometers (100,000 miles).
 This time they want to visit 23 Argentinean provinces plus the Farkland Islands and the Argentinean Antarctic territory. They will depart from Buenos Aires. A caravan of friends that also ride and are fans of this couple’ adventures will go along with them. The biker family feels represented by Julieta & Julian, and encourage all the time to go on with this awesome trip.
 Julieta and Julian have a web site, 5 fan groups in Facebook, and Twitter. They had many interviews in newspapers, radios and TV; and they participated in popular live show in Argentina.
 Now, they are in USA. They are preparing their wedding and honeymoon, when they will began to fulfill their dream. In order to do that, they need your help.
